Nokia N95 is a Powerhouse
Nokia just released one of the most powerful cell phones to ever hit the market: the N95. This thing is not for those of you who just want a device that can make calls and send text messages. No, this somewhat-bulky smartphone is designed for the poweruser, and the $750 price tag lets you know that right away. So what makes a phone worth that much? Walk with me.
Well, first of all, it has a real camera built into it. It’s a 5-megapixel one, complete with beautiful Carl Zeiss 2.8/5.6 autofocusing lens. That’s the kind of thing you find on a point-and-shoot camera, not on a cell phone. Furthermore, you get GPS navigation built in to keep you where you want to be, WiFi connectivity, liveblogging software that lets you post and upload videos and photos directly to your blog from the phone, and a robust media player.
It’s missing a couple of features that is has in Europe just due to the differences in the networks between our two fair continents, like videoconferencing and HSDPA connectivity, but this is still one of the slickest and most powerful phones you can buy in this country at the moment.
