Nokia Unveils N96 Superphone

Nokia has just unveiled the successor to its N95 superphone, the unsurprisingly named N96, and it looks to be a real powerhouse. It’s got fun features like GPS for getting pinpoint accurate maps, a great 5-megapixel camera, and 16GB of memory onboard to load up with tons and tons of music, video and pictures.
Some other cool features include backlit touch buttons that change what they display based on what functions are needed on screen, so they’ll have basic music control buttons when you’re listening to music and gaming controls when you’re playing games. In addition, it has built-in TV tuning capabilities, but unless you’re planning to bring it with you to Europe or Asia, that will be an ability you won’t be able to take advantage of here in the States due to our lack of wireless TV signals. It looks like a pretty slick phone, one that people who want their phone to be loaded to the gills with features will be sure to appreciate when it comes out later this year.
