Onkyo Mini System is Steps Above Standard Docks
One thing a lot of people don’t realize about the insane number of iPod docks on the market is that a stereo system doesn’t need to be designed with an iPod-specific dock for it to be able to hook up to the ubiquitous little player. All it needs is a line-in jack, and then either a simple 3.5mm to RCA cable or 3.5mm male/male cable is all it takes to make the connection happen.
With that in mind it’s a wonder that more people don’t choose classy desktop stereo systems like this ONKYO CS-210 Executive Series Stereo Mini System over higher-priced and under-powered stand-alone iPod docks. The handsome system features a single-disc CD player, AM/FM radio, and 20 watts per channel of stereo sound. It has a fully featured remote and will look classy either on your desk at the office or on the kitchen counter back home. With the ability to hook an iPod (or any other portable music player, for that matter) up to it, why go with something that can only play music from one source?
