Although most smartphones out there double as PDAs, what with their calendars, organizers, and office document editing abilities, but not everybody wants to combine their phones with their PDAs. That’s why stand-alone PDAs are still around and kicking, with one of the best of the bunch being the Palm T/X Handheld PDA.
The Palm T/X is one of the most robust PDAs out there, giving you loads of abilities in a small package. You can edit office documents on it, and you won’t have to rely on a touchscreen keyboard to do it: you can get an small, wireless keyboard to fold up and bring with you that’ll allow you to use the T/X like a tiny computer. In addition, it can provide GPS turn-by-turn directions to get you where you want to go, and it connects to the internet for checking email or surfing around to various websites. You can also load it up with music, videos, and photos for portable media enjoyment. Who needs a smartphone?
