Panasonic Offers 3D in a Compact Camera

Share

Panasonic took the lid off of their newest compact camera, the Lumix 3D1. This camera offers both still and 1080 video capture by utilizing two 4x zoom lenses. Probably the most impressive feature of this camera is its capability to capture 2D video and stills simultaneously because each lens has its own imaging engine. The 3D1 uses a 12 megapixel MOS sensor and captures video at 1080 HD at 60i. Panasonic’s O.I.S is incorporated into this mix to reduce blurring. There is a big 3.5 inch touch screen on the back with a 2D/3D switch on the top right for ease of use. The Panasonic 3D1 should be available in December at a price of $499.
