Polk miDock Brings Sound Quality to the iPod Dock Market

Polk MiDock

There are loads of iPod docks out there, but let’s face it: most of them sound pretty lousy. By trying to be small and portable, like the iPod, they end up skimping on speaker quality. If you want a way to turn your iPod into your home stereo as well as your portable music player, you’ll need to invest in a dock with a bit more heft to it.

The Polk Audio miDock Studio Speaker System for iPod is such a dock. It actually has some bass to it, featuring Bass Reflex Side Ports that’ll pump out low end sounds much better than smaller docks that force it through tiny speakers. And sure, it’s not exactly portable, but why do you need your iPod dock to be portable? It’s supposed to be the home for your iPod when you aren’t on the go. So go ahead, invest in a dock with some heft. You won’t be moving it around much anyways, and you’ll be glad your music actually sounds good coming out of it.
