Protect Yourself From Identity Theft with the ID Vault

ID Vault

The internet can be a shady place. With so many weasels around looking for an excuse to get access to your passwords, bank account info and other personal information, you’ve got to be careful and vigilant. If you want to make sure you stay safe and protected, maybe it’s time to get something that will really guarantee you’ll stay safe.

That something is the Guard-Id Systems IDV08RTL01 ID Vault 2008. You load it up with your credit card info and passwords and then plug it into your computer. When you’re surfing the web, it’ll automatically put your encrypted passwords in for you and will also automatically fill in your credit card info for you. It monitors over 7,000 financial sites and over 500 shopping sites to make sure you’re never on a fake phishing site, and it keeps all of your passwords secure on a device that you can easily remove and take with you. It’s the smart way to stay secure, because nobody wants to have their identity stolen.

But if you lose this (with its big "ID Vault" name right on it), isn't that all someone needs for ID theft?

I assume there is some sort of protection scheme involve before you can access the flash drive like entering a password.

This is a subscription service that costs 39.95 per year. It is an excellent security system and requires a vault pin number to open any account. 39.95 a year may be a bit pricey.
