Pure Off-Road Arcade Racing

When it comes to racing videogames, there are two distinct camps. You have the guys that prefer realistic driving simulators, and then you have the guys that prefer arcade racers. The chief difference being that arcade racers are anything but realistic. You need to suspend reality and just accept it for what it is, a fun yet surreal experience.

While I do respect sim racers, to me they don’t bring the same level of excitement that arcade racers have.

One arcade racer that has been catching a lot of buzz lately is Pure. It’s an off-road racing game where you man an ATV and basically go to town. You have the ability to perform wicked airborne tricks and gravity defying stunts.

Pure is available on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
