Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Coming to Xbox 360

Tactical shooters – games in which you play the member of a special ops team of some kind, working on the sly to infiltrate specific targets using both brute force and strategy – are one of, if not the, most popular genre of video games out there. And why not? It combines the thinking required for a puzzle or strategy game with the fast-paced action of a first person shooter. And one of the best series in the genre is Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six, a series about to unleash its latest masterpiece on the world that goes by the name of Rainbow Six Vegas 2.

What makes the Rainbow Six series so great is that it really makes you feel like you’re playing a movie. It’s incredibly cinematic, from the camera angles to the in-game cut scenes, and it brings a level of polish and quality that’s rarely seen in games. In this latest entry, you’ll be in Vegas trying to protect the city from a terrorist siege. From the outlaying suburbs of the city to the glitzy main strip, you’ll cover the whole city with your team trying to keep people safe. You’ll be able to create your own main character from scratch, really putting yourself in the game, and once you’re done with the main mission there’s a robust multiplayer to keep you busy. It’s the perfect representation of what makes tactical shooters so popular.
