Refurbished Laptops Are Good as New

IBM Thinkpad Refurb

Remember when laptops were prohibitively expensive? Like, the cheapest you could find one was for $2,000, and even then it wasn’t all that great? Boy, am I glad those days are over. Nowadays the hottest laptops come in at under that price, and if you just want a computer for surfing the web and checking email you can get away with spending what only a few years ago couldn’t even get you in the door.

Just take a look at this Refurbished IBM 236786U Thinkpad T30 14.1″ Notebook PC. This thing is so cheap you’ll wonder what’s going on. The “catch” is that it’s refurbished, but it’s factory refurbished to being as good as new, so you don’t have to worry about it being tinkered with in some guy’s garage. And it’s got everything you need to use it as a great basic computer, going online, watching DVDs, checking and writing emails, and editing digital pictures. The barrier of entry for portable computing keeps getting lower and lower, but you’ve gotta wonder if it can get much cheaper than this.
