Resident Evil 4 Puts Zombies on Your Wii

Resident Evil 4 Wii

The Resident Evil series has kept enough people up at night that it’s got to be one of the leading causes of insomnia at this point. The zombie horror genre was basically invented by Capcom with Resident Evil, with its scary, claustrophobic backdrops and jumping-out-of-your-skin moments of a huge monster crashing through a door at you.

Well, why let a good thing end? Resident Evil 4 is the latest incarnation of the classic series, and it’s headed to the Nintendo Wii with plenty of active Wiimote based control schemes to get you even more into the game. You’ll be able to aim and shoot at your foes by pointing at the screen, something you’ve never been able to do in previous Resident Evil games, and the setting transports you to a castle in Europe rather than the standard Raccoon City locales. Whether you’re an old pro with the series or a new Wii fan looking to get some action, you can’t go wrong with Resident Evil 4.
