Samsung’s G400 Has Not One But Two Touchscreens

Touchscreens are all the rage on cell phones these days, what with the iPhone ushering them in as the hottest accessories to hit phones since the camera. And why not? By getting rid of buttons it really clears up room for big, beautiful screens that are great for viewing pictures, watching videos, and surfing the web. Samsung’s latest phone is upping the ante: why be happy with one touchscreen when you can have two?
That’s just what the upcoming Samsung G400 has, with one touchscreen placed on the outside of the phone and one on the inside when you flip it open. This allows you to control the phone without opening it – checking a text message, for example – and gives you another one to use when you open it to do more complex tasks like writing a text message in response. It’s a pretty elegant little setup, one that promises to move phone design forward even further. And don’t worry, with all that touchscreen technology in there they still found room for a 5-megapixel camera.
