Sonic Manipulates Gravity in His New Racer

The best video games let us live out crazy fantasies in worlds where the rules of our world don’t exist. Be they the rules of the law in games like Grand Theft Auto or rules of physics like in the Mario games, we love to live in worlds completely different than our own.

That’s what makes the upcoming Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity look so enticing. It’s a racing game, of which there are countless out there, but it’s got a twist: you can control gravity. Yep, unlike in your boring, mundane life, in this game you can turn gravity on and off at will. You can also open portals that fling you through space. Pretty handy abilities to have while racing, no? The only problem is that your opponents have the same abilities, making races a frantic, insane affair that’ll bend your mind as you try to keep up. Sounds like just the kind of thing we look for in good video games, doesn’t it?
