Sony knows that looks are getting more and more important in computers as the advancement of the guts inside them starts to level out. You want your computer to look classy while it sits on your lap at the local coffee show, don’t you? That’s why their latest laptops are these slick limited-edition Vaio FZs, featuring custom designs by NYC artist Maya Hayuk.
They’re really quite beautiful, and the insides are just as well designed as the outsides. They all come loaded up with a 15.4-inch screen, Blu-ray Disc optical drive, Intel Core 2 Duo processor, XBRITE-HiColor technology and NVIDIA GeForce 8400GT graphics. Of course, such a great package won’t run cheap, with these laptops going for a pricey $2,500 a piece. But hey, you can consider them limited-edition works of art, as only 600 will ever be made. You’ve got to hand it to Sony: they know how to make a unique piece of electronics.
