Sunshine Beams Down to DVD, Blu-ray

Danny Boyle is one of the most versatile directors working today, having successfully make great films in nearly every genre out there. From 28 Days Later and Trainspotting to Millions and The Beach, no one movie of his is like the others. Which is why it’s no surprise that he decided to tackle science fiction, a totally new genre for him, with his latest film, Sunshine.

About to come out on both DVD and Blu-ray, Sunshine is an epic sci-fi adventure that follows in the footsteps of such films as 2001, Event Horizon, and Solaris. It’s both an action-filled sci-fi classic filled with incredible special effects and a psychological drama with superb acting by the likes of Cillian Murphy, Chris Evans, Michelle Yeoh, and Cliff Curtis. It’s a must for anyone with an appreciation for great sci-fi, and it’s also one of those movies you’ll pull out again and again to show off your setup with if you happen to have a Blu-ray player.
