NARM, the National Association of Recording Merchandisers, held its annual convention last month. The convention is where the music retail industry gathers to network, discuss changes within the industry and also plan for the future. At each convention, awards are handed out to retailers & labels that have excelled in different areas.
This year, J&R won the Marketing Award for their innovative television, print and subway ads.

J&R has been on an advertising tear as of late. We launched a series of television ad spots, which you can see here. The response has been tremendously positive.
In addition to the television ad spots, we have initiated a new branding campaign on the NYC subway. J&R ads can now be seen on several subway lines and around subway stations.

J&R created some buzz on the web with the Santa fight commercial over the holiday season. That was simply the beginning. We will be airing some television ads highlighting why J&R is the place to come to for your electronics and gadgets.
