When it comes to hard drives, Western Digital is an industry leader, and that’s why their products come highly recommended by us. They recently released three hard drives that caught my attention.

There is no need for a separate power supply since the drive is directly powered via the USB port. How cool is that? Earlier this year, I blogged about the RX-V663BL receiver from Yamaha. It was a great bang for the buck, entry level receiver. Yamaha has come out with the successor to that brilliant AVR. The new model is the RX-V665. In terms of performance, they are very close. However, the RX-V665 has 4 HDMI inputs, and opposed to 2 that the former model has.

Back in early October of last year, I blogged about the Nikon D90, the first DSLR with the capability to record video.

Well, Nikon has done it again. They recently introduced the D5000. Like the D90, the D5000 allows you to record 720p HD movie clips with sound. It makes it a great alternative for people who want a slightly less expensive camera, but with most of the features of the D90.
