    The charismatic founder of Apple, an icon to generations of Apple fans has passed away, according to a release from Apple on Wednesday. Steve Jobs was a co-creator of one of the first personal computers. Jobs co-founded Apple with Steve Wozniak in 1976. He left eight years later, returning in 1996 to reinvigorate Apple and bring about a string of successful innovations, including the iMac personal computer, the iPod, the iPhone and the iPad. Steve Jobs was instrumental in making computers for the home and for enhanced mobility. A rare visionary has been lost but his gifts to business and humankind will live on.
