Nokia N95 users are proud. Understandably. The N95 8GB is a truly special smartphone, so packed with features that Nokia calls it a multimedia computer. The new N95 (also known as the N95-4) has 8GB of built-in Flash memory. With easy access to music, email, advanced web browsing, a 5-megapixel camera, and GPS mapping, it’s easy to forget what a magnificent phone the N95 is.
The first thing you notice is the brilliant 2.8” screen, capable of 16 million colors. You can surf the web in portrait or landscape mode. Slide the keyboard up for the alphanumeric keypad and down for the media player controls. Then, use the N95.
The built-in still camera has Carl Zeiss optics, and the video camera is capable of MPEG-4 video capture at up to 30fps. Download your digital photos directly to Flickr. With the addition of Qik software (http://qik.com/), you can even stream live video. The digital music player supports most formats and includes an FM radio with equalizer. GPS navigation features Nokia World Wide Maps. Wi-Fi is enabled for web-surfing, and the Nokia Web Browser has a Mini Map inset. The 3G network enables high-speed Web browsing and data transfer.
Battery life is outstanding with an estimated 300-minute talk time. The 4-band GSM format is unlocked for trotting about the globe.
The Nokia N95 8GB has just about everything. It’s like the Swiss Army Knife of hand-held computers, except it’s Finnish.
