This camera is amazing. I am a graphic artist and moved up from a D70 which I loved, but wanted the extra pixels for the crop factor and larger print capability. The D90 boasts some great features, high and low ISO settings, active D-lighting, and a gorgeous 3" screen that makes my old D70 1.8" screen look like a postage stamp. Ok, so onto the most important thing; picture quality, outstanding is the only word that can be said, the colors are natural and vibrant in normal use, but with the vast array of tweaks that the D90 has, it can make any shooting condition look good.
From our help section: http://www.jr.com/information/... International Billing If you are paying with a credit card that has a Billing Address outside the U.S., U.S. Territories, Puerto Rico, Canada, or APO/FPO - put your street address and City in the regular boxes, select "International" for your Billing State and enter the correct country, billing phone number, and any other necessary information in the "International Billing" box in the Other Information section of the Checkout Process.
Please note - on the Review page and if you go back to edit your billing information, your Billing State will appear as "AE - Armed Forces Europe" under the Billing Address section. At this time, we ship to the U.S., U.S. Territories, Puerto Rico, Canada, and APO/FPO only.
They are both 12.3 megapixel cameras, but the key difference between them is that the D5000 has an vari-angle display that you can move in different directions to view what you are capturing. The Display on the D90 is static. Nevertheless, the resolution on the D90 screen is higher than the resolution of the screen on the D5000. It’s also slightly bigger at 3 inches, as opposed to 2.7 inches on the D5000.
So it’s a trade off, the D5000’s screen offers versatility, it’s also a little brighter and is more visible in the sun. The D90 screen is larger and has a higher resolution. Ultimately, only you can decide which would suit your needs most. They are both fine cameras.
