The Perfect HDTV for the Kitchen

Samsung 23

With old fashioned analog TV going off the air next year, it’s becoming time to upgrade not only the big TV in the living room to an HD model, but also the TV in the bedroom and the kitchen. HDTVs don’t just come in 50-inch models, after all.

This Samsung LNT2354HX 23″ Widescreen LCD HDTV is the perfect size for either of those uses. It’s not so big as to be unwieldy while also not being too small to be worthwhile – the perfect sweet spot. It’s got an HD resolution and comes with the connectors you need to plug it into HD sources such as cable boxes, Blu-ray players, or video game systems. Two HDMI ports let you run more than one HD source into it, as well. And the price? Well it hits that sweet spot between too low and too high as well, making upgrading to HD in all the rooms of your house that need it a real no brainer.

I am looking at getting a flat screen for our bedroom. The TV actually sits lower than the bed and I end up using a bunch of Down Pillows that I got on shopdownlite.com just to prop myself up to see. I have been holding off on getting a flat screen for the bedroom but think this might be a nice one. Does anyone have suggestions on ways to hide the cables from this if I place on a wall in our bedroom? THanks.

  • Hi Bob, it all depends on what kind of wall you have in your bedroom. First find out if it is drywall, concrete etc. Do you own your place or is it a rental? That might also be a determining factor. Drilling holes in your wall could be an issue if you are renting.
