People who buy Playstation 3’s think they’re hardcore gamers because of how much money they dropped on their console. But what do they know? Real hardcore gamers scoff at console gamers, laughing at their inability to upgrade and how they all have the same machine. Really serious gamers hang out on PCs, where they can control every aspect of their gaming rig. The heart and soul of every serious gaming rig is the graphics card, and it doesn’t get much more hardcore than the PNY 8800 Ultra Overclocked 768MB PCIe Graphics Card.
This bad boy costs significantly more than the Playstation 3 all on its own, and it’s just one part of what’s sure to be an absolutely insane PC that it’s placed inside. It’s got 768MB of pure graphic-processing power, more than enough to run basically any game out there right now. If you coupled this with a high-end processor and a bunch of speedy RAM, you’d have a computer fast enough to run games for the next few years, when PS3 owners are starting to look to the horizon for the next big thing. If only they knew that you had it now.
