Tiger Woods Takes Wii Golf to the Next Level

When the Nintendo Wii was initially launched back in October of 2006, one of its biggest selling points was the motion sensing controller that allowed people to swing it around to play the games on Wii Sports. One of the games on there was Wii Golf, a simple golf game that allowed you to used the Wiimote like a golf club, swinging it to hit the ball. It was a lot of fun, but very simple and devoid of features.

Now, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 has come along to fill in the gaps where Wii Sports was lacking. You start your career as a golfer under the wing of Hank Haney, Tiger’s real-life coach. He’ll teach you everything you need to know, from club selection to reading the green. You’ll then grow your career as a pro, taking on comers until eventually taking on Tiger himself. With precise controls, beautiful graphics, and exciting game play, this is the golf game to get. It’s almost as good as actually being out on the greens yourself.
