Vinyl of the Week - Abbey Road by The Beatles

The Beatles are undoubtedly one of the most commercially successful groups in music history.

Originally from Liverpool, England, The Beatles formed in 1960 and released a dozen successful albums in the span of a decade before they disbanded in 1970. They are credited for leading the British Invasion movement into the United States.

The last album they released as a group was Let It Be, however Abbey Road was the last album the group recorded together. It is regarded by many critics as one of The Beatles most tightly constructed albums. It is always a perennial contender in any list of the greatest albums in history. It’s just a marvel to listen to.
