<description>I agree -- we'll be hearing a lot mroe about this little box. It sounds pretty exciting -- and is the first box to offer tru eon-demand (instant) viewing. I imagine Apple will be scrambling to do the same for the Apple TV.

Apple's new box is an interesting comparison. It has a lot more features, and a lot of people already use iTunes. I think the Vudu will have to come on strong to unseat that early advtange.

Plus, the Apple TV was out first, allowing it to get positive reviews that people have seen. Pieces like Shelly Palmer's "Apple TV - Just What the Doctor Ordered":
http://advancedmediacommittee.typepad.com/emmyadvancedmedia/2007/04/appletv_just_wh.html"

There's something to be said for "mindshare" -- though, with TiVo as the precedent, maybe it's not everything. (I love it, but most people just get the cable box.)
