Widen Your Laptop’s Screen With an HP LCD External Monitor

An item often overlooked on an incoming college student’s shopping list is an external monitor for their new laptop. After all, don’t laptops these days come with screens built in? They do (and they always have), but a larger, external monitor makes those long hours spent on the computer much easier. The added real estate allows one to have more documents displaying—and larger text—while writing an essay in Word, a big plus when pulling off the inevitable all-nighters. When you want to operate one place and display that output two place this time it's useful. Mainly it's used in the business office work. I have also used this laptop and LCD screen in my office.

This nice to hear this from google but it would be so much better if the laptop is available for public in 1st quarter 2011.

You can normally attach an external standard monitor using the VGA cable and then extend your desktop to use the second monitor.
