Wrist-Mounted GPS is Much More Than a Watch
OK, now before you go and judge this as a really big and dorky watch, give it a chance. Yes, it’s kind of gigantic, and yes, it probably won’t go well with your new Armani suit. But hey, it’s not designed to go with your fancy suit, now is it? It’s actually a lot more than a watch.
The Garmin Foretrex 201 Wrist-Mounted Global Positioning Device is, as the name suggests, a GPS device in the form of a watch. It’ll get you where you’re going without needing the dashboard of a luxury SUV to provide the satellite details. It’s nice and rugged, perfect for taking on a hike. It’s even waterproof, so you don’t have to worry about ruining it when you cross that stream. It’s rechargeable, with the battery providing 15 hours of location tracking between charges. So as you can see, it’s very far removed from that calculator watch that got you beat up in elementary school. I’m very sorry that happened, but it’s time to move on and accept items like this as something other than bully magnets.
